connecting gaps, gapping connections explores gaps as generative sites between bodies, beats, and worlds. Combining house dance improvisation with experimental choreography, the quartet – two dancers, sound, and scenography – creates an ecology of friction shaped by velcro textures, shifting thresholds, and moments of hesitation and rupture. The work investigates how discontinuity can open pathways for new forms of relation across difference, inviting audiences to experience intimacy, tension, and connection within the in-between.
